  1. My first comment about this is that usually we think of the Jesus Way as the way to the right and it leads to Heaven and eternal life and the other Broad Way is the way to the left and it leads to hell and destruction… hence the picture I chose for this week’s verse. But this verse says that the Jesus Way is the only road and if you go either way, right or left, you’re off track. And in fact doing so, getting off The Way, your feet are treading on some evil territory.

      1. I am actually right in the middle of this battle now. Especially being in a Christian thrash band, playing different venues and coming in contact with all sorts of different people. It is difficult to stay in the center, “The Jesus Way”.

  2. So we all can easily see how we can get too “liberal”, but it would help some of us to also notice when we are getting too “righteous”. The bible is just as clear about “acting” good and following religious traditions, as it is clear about fornication and idol worship. Now that I’m writing this out, I can see that the old picture I chose for this verse IS right. We may think that we are “looking” righteous and earning your way into Heaven, but if Jesus doesn’t KNOW us we are on the same road as the unrepentant. That little, unassuming doorway to the right is Jesus, it’s nothing else… and I’m one of those pointing to it… and I’m the child that is seen and loved by Him and is trying to get her relatives to even check it out!
